The Myton Hospices - Swim for Myton 2022 · 1 September 2022 to 1 December 2022 ·

This will help ensure The Myton Hospices can continue to provide its services free of charge to people with a terminal or life limiting illness, and their families, when they need us most.

Story

In 2005 my husband Michael Fellows and dad of Jenna and Paul was admitted to Myton Hospice Warwick  in the final weeks of brain cancer.  Sadly by this time he wasn’t able to walk, his sight was poor, and his mind was quite mixed up. Being admitted to Myton was just perfect. They treated Michael like a King. Us his family was treated beautifully. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Our daughter even had to do her finals for midwifery in that final week, the staff gave her a private room and their computer to finish it. That final day they never left his side, continued to play his jazz music . When he did pass away , they were so kind to us all. We called them ‘Angels in blue uniform’. We can never thank them enough for all they did for Michael and us his family. Hence why I want to give something back to them.
