FUNZI & BODO TRUST - A small local charity that works hard to improve the standard of living for people in the Kenyan village of Bodo and Funzi Island.  In just 4 years we have opened 2 clinics to provide local health care, operate a water ambulance and road ambulance. We have also refurbished / rebuilt 2 schools and dug a well to provide clean water.  Local people are employed by the charity for example John who provides primary health care for the villages.  This enables talented local people to be involved in caring and providing for thier own community in addition to benefiting the local economy.

Our help and money is needed even more than ever as Cholera spreads across the community causing serious illness and death.  Please help us to help others in much less secure and safe circumstances than most of us live in.  In August I plan to walk the 3 Peaks of the Dales, a total of about 26 miles. A personal challenge and an opportunity to raise funds for the charity........and an opportunity to change lives in Africa for the better.........clean water, quality health care and education............opportunity to step out of poverty ...........and for some an opportunity of life.  So please dig deep and donate now.
