Thank you for visiting Emma Jean’s page.

She brought so much to our life and exceeded all our expectations with her enthusiasm, talent and sense of humour.  She threw herself into life.  Whether she was with her friends, her family, at Brownies, dance and drama or at her trampoline club, playing her guitar, swimming, travelling or at school, she loved it all.    

Emma started life with a visit to Great Ormond Street and a week on an ECMO machine due to her lungs.  When after those nine joyful healthy years her heart suddenly gave out they fought to the end to save her.

We miss her smiling face every day but it has been a huge comfort knowing that thanks to Great Ormond Street everything that could be done to save her was.  There are no "if only's" that could make life unbearable.
