Claire was gifted and talented. She described the day she graduated with a 'Bachelor of Science with Honours of the First Class in Medicine' as the proudest of her life. For years, however, she battled with her own beliefs of herself. She began to doubt her choice of a career as a doctor and left the course before qualification.Tributes from family and friends at all stages of her life comment upon her generosity of spirit, her preparedness to provide emotional and practical support and help. Despite battling with her own mental and emotional well being she continued to give support to those around her. What Claire received in love she returned in plenty. Donations to Mind, in Leeds where she was living and true to nature undertaking postgraduate study (a diploma in law) at the time of her death will ensure that her generosity can continue to help those in similar need.
