In 2010 I was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes.  Since then it was a battle, with diet, tablets and since being on insulin have managed to control my condition.  I have always wanted to run the London Marathon and am so honoured to be able to run it for Diabetes UK.  Due to Covid etc the event has been postponed twice and I had to defer last year but am on track to run in April 2024.  Thank you to all those who donated in 2020 and have been patiently waiting for me to finally complete the event.  Please ignore that it says I am running the London Marathon in 2021, I can't seem to change it.
