Story
Every year, thousands of families receive the devastating news that their child has suffered a brain injury.
The Child Brain Injury Trust was established by a group of health professionals in 1991 to research and provide information regarding the effects of ‘traumatic’ injury on a child’s developing brain.
Today the Child Brain Injury Trust is the leading voluntary sector organisation providing emotional and practical support, information and learning opportunities for families and professionals affected by childhood acquired brain injury across the UK. You can find out more about them here: https://childbraininjurytrust.org.uk/
This year, Jane James and Associates will be participating in the Peak District Challenge, to raise both money and awareness for this worthy charity.
On Saturday 21st September, we will be trekking over the Derwent Valley in a circular route, starting and ending in Hathersage ,for 25km with a 700m ascent and a nine hour target for completion!
Wish us luck!
