This November, I am taking part in The 137 Challenge with ActionAid. Did you know, one in three women will experience some form of violence in their lifetime, and 137 women are killed per day by a partner or family member? Donating just £23 could pay a counsellors salary for a month meaning women and girls who have survived violence have access to crucial psychosocial support to help them recover. ActionAid is an international charity that works with women and girls living in poverty. Their dedicated local staff are changing the world with women and girls. They are ending violence and fighting poverty so that all women, everywhere can create the future they want.
