Hello!

 

Before you tell me - I know that the title page says I'm running the 2010 Great North Run!  Due to a pretty bad case of flu in 2010, I was unable to run on the day but you'll be pleased to know that I haven't given up and am now entered into the 2011 race which gives everyone an extra year to donate :-)

A few of you will know that I scared myself silly and ran the Leeds Half Marathon and now I've signed up to go through the hell of it all again (!) in aid of the British Red Cross.  I'm running the Great North Run in Newcastle on the 19th September and want to raise as much money as possible for this worthwhile charity so please give generously. 

 

The Red Cross are a volunteer-led humanitarian organsation that helps people in crisis whoever and wherever they are.  Following the Haitian earthquake in January 2010, the Red Cross have been building shelters for the homeless and six months on this is of vital importance ahead of the hurricane season.

 

A massive thank you to all of those who donate.
