Well, I did it!  My official time for the 10km (approx 6 miles in old money) was 1h 39m 49s; the fastest time was 1h 27m 52s, and as over 1500 women took part I was pleased to be only 12 minutes behind the leader.

The atmosphere on the night was absolutely fantastic, and the sight of all those flashing bunny ears wending their way round the city was such fun - someone asked as we passed if it was a massive hen night!!
