Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my page

I hate heights!!

But I hate that my son Isaac has diabetes more!

Isaac was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes in  2018, aged 13.

I watch Isaac get up every day, scan, carb count, inject, repeat, ride the emotional and physical roller coaster, with no option but to carry on, as he has no other choice!  He is positive, self disciplined, motivated, angry, disheartened,  always hopeful for a cure.

I am doing this abseil (and what an abseil it’s going to be!) as I want to do something daring demanding and exciting!

Since 2019, I have had a very challenging time in my own personal life, followed by depression.  Isaac has given me the motivation to take on a personal challenge and make a difference. I hope to make him and my family proud of me and in the process raise money for this amazing charity!
