What? Cycling alongside (or behind) the 199

Where? Start in Compiegne, the site of the Armistice. Then cycle through the battlefields of the Somme, heading to Belgium to the site where the first and last shots were fired at Mons. Following in the footsteps of the Allied forces and being a part of ceremonies to honour the fallen.

Why? To mark the 100th anniversary of the guns falling silent ...
