Fundraising for Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation
Story
Hello.
To the people that do not know me my name's Jane and I'm running the Great South Run for the Roy Castle Lung Cancer foundation.
This charity means a great deal to me as I lost my mum to lung cancer on 1st November 2009 after a 2 year battle.
I completed the Great South Run one month before my mum passed away and after I crossed the finish line I stated 'NEVER AGAIN AM I DOING THAT!' For those that know me and can remember... I couldn't walk (walking downstairs was the worst!) for a good month after doing the race! See, I’m not much of a runner! :-)
However, here I am again, all registered and ready to take it on but this time with my fiancé by my side helping me stay motivated and keeping me moving.
I would be really grateful if people could sponsor me. Roy Castle Lung Foundation is not government funded and it relies solely on donations.
