Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my Just Giving page.
We all know someone whose life has been touched by Parkinson's. My beloved brother in law was given it as a 50th birthday present and has coped with it for over 15 years. I was looking for something special to do to celebrate my diamond jubilee. So when my Uni chum Tim got in touch and told me about his campaign to raise funds for the CPT by doing a 60/60 walk I knew I had to get involved. I can't make Tim's walk - another jubilee celebration - so I'm doing my own and there happens to be a 60 mile trail devised by the Sussex Ramblers to celebrate their 60th anniversary and named the Diamond Trail! It was meant to happen! So Hamish and I and my big sis Jilli who is brilliant at organising stuff will be walking on 7th, 8th, 11th 12th and 13th July this year. We will be walking from Heathfield to Midhurst. We are hoping others will join us for all or part of the journey and spread the word and the fund raising net. Please get in touch if you would like me to send the itinerary. And of course if you feel the cause is worth some of your hard earned cash...
