Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

David McGregor of Banton was a well known and loved guy who fought his battle with lung and brain cancer with dignity and unbelievable courage. He faced it head on from diagnosis and vowed to just 'get on wi it' and enjoy what life he had left with his beloved boys and family. And he did just that. Strathcarron Hospice gave him the tools to explore skills he didnt know he had and discover that he was a 'no bad painter'. They looked after him.and his family when it was needed and at the end the care and dignified love they gave him was unfounded.

We as his friends and family want to help.support the Hospice by having a sponsored walk from the Hospice to Banton Bowling Club where David spent his sundays with family and friends putting the world to rights and having a beer or two...or four. Daye planned is  Sunday 11th February 2018.
