Fundraising for Breast Cancer Care

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

My friend Lisa and myself have decided to take part in the Ben Nevis Challenge in October. Not only will the climb itself be challenging but we have also committed to raise £500.00 each for breast cancer.

A lot of us have been affected by cancer both directly and indirectly, lets face it, there are not too many of us who can say they have not had a family member affected by cancer and sadly many of us have lost members of our family to this terrible illness.

Approximately 12,400 people (both men and women) die from breast cancer every year in the UK and breast cancer is the second greatest cause of death for women in the UK.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

I appreciate that there are a lot of good causes and charitable organisations asking for donations but I feel very strongly about all forms of cancer research and the more we donate the closer their researchers will come to finding a cure. So PLEASE PLEASE dig deep and contriube .... Together we will find a cure.
