Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Cameron is 12 and loves superheroes, especially Star Wars, Power Rangers and more recently Dr Who. He enjoys playing superhero games on his PlayStation, reading books about superheroes, acting out his superhero missions, dreaming about superheroes and talking about superheroes. To his family, he is a superhero!!

Cameron is the politest boy you could meet, he tries really hard in school and loves to help out with jobs around the house.

Cameron is also autistic and life can be challenging for him, he finds it hard to know what people mean, he finds it difficult to communicate effectively with people and to make himself understood. He gets upset and worried over things (little to us but huge deals to him) and he struggles with sensory issues and has poor coordination skills. For Cameron, our world is a strange place but the superhero world is one he can make sense of and connect with.

Run like a Time Lord 5k is a virtual race whereby he can walk/run 5k over the space of a week between 1.11.17 -  7.11.17, and we show proof of that by using a Fitbit or gps app.  Cameron has decided that he will do the challenge in one go and we hope to register for a park run to show proof of his success.

Please support Cameron in his challenge. Physical exercise is not his favourite subject nor the easiest for him to undertake but he is excited to take on the challenge to raise money for The National Autistic Society.
