This year my father-in-law Tony Ah-See passed away after a long illness. Tony trained as a doctor at Aberdeen University becoming a Senior Lecturer in Surgery and Consultant Surgeon and contributing significant research in breast cancer and vascular surgery. He  was deeply committed to patient care and  inspired countless medical students and trainees.  Above all else he believed in the life-changing power of education. Kim, Rowan and I will run in his memory to raise funds for Widening Access Scholarships.
