Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I ran four marathons in 2015 but none so hard as the London Marathon in April as the Wednesday before the race my father had a sudden and unexpected heart attack. Sadly a week later he died. The Royal Parks Half was the first race that I competed in after taking up running and my dad was there to see me finish. I have run it every year since this year being my fifth and it seems fitting on this anniversary to honour my dads memory and raise funds to help others fighting heart disease.
Keeping your heart healthy, whatever your age, is the most important thing you can do to help prevent and manage heart disease by supporting the British Heart Foundation funds research and treatment of this unpredictable disease.
