Story

I think we all know people who've really struggled over the last few years - or are still struggling. People who we care deeply about but who we can't seem to help out of their depression, despair or hopelessness.

The Samaritans seem to offer a back-stop - and I've got many reasons to be grateful that they are there at the end of the phone or computer. It can be the hardest thing to tell our loved ones how desperate we're feeling. The Samaritans are there around the clock, ready to listen and often bring people back from the brink.
