My lovely mum has been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s and Vascular Dementia, and she has many other challenges, but she still keeps smiling!  I’m hoping that’s all the inspiration I need to get around 26.2 miles of London streets, having only started running in Feb 21, and having contracted COVID just 11 days before the event!  All the money I can raise for this great charity will spur me on even if I don't break records!

The Alzheimer’s Society is transforming the landscape of dementia forever.  Until the day they find a cure, they will create a society where those affected by dementia are supported and accepted, able to live in their community without fear or prejudice.
