*Miriam's story, like most of our girls, is one that breaks our hearts. Orphaned at a young age, passed from pillar to post and back again, and eventually given a home by her aunt and uncle. And then the uncle turned on her. And she became pregnant.
Due to her tiny size and young age *Miriam has to have a caesarian section. This is not cheap here in Kenya. And so we need to raise £500 to cover the cost of the gynacologist, the surgery, and her and baby's aftercare in hospital.
