Raise or Donate 20
Campaign by The Wallich (RCN 1004103)
During this difficult and uncertain time, home has never been more important. As part of our Rebuild20 campaign, we're asking people to come together as a community and either donate £20, or raise £20, to help support and restore our vital services.

Story

The Wallich has set up a #rebuild20 campaign, to help make up for a fundraising  shortfall due to COVID 19.

Every £20 raised makes a huge difference:

  • Temporary accommodation and a hot meal every day for a week for someone who was rough sleeping
  • A weeks shopping for someone self isolating in a hostel
  • Digital access to combat boredom and maintain wellbeing for people experiencing poverty in isolation
  • Access to counselling via video call to someone who is struggling.

I can’t physically volunteer at the moment but I can help fundraise. The Wallich suggest setting up a challenge based around the number 20.

So to start I will aim to make 20 batches of 20 welsh cakes.
If that works I’ll try a different 20 challenge!
