Story

Hi everyone,

Thanks for taking the time to visit my page! I have two dogs and three cats at home who I absolutely adore. They are more than just family pets, they are family. All of my cats are strays my family rescued from the street, which is what compelled me to raise money for the ISPCA. Because nothing breaks my heart more than seeing abandoned animals or hearing stories of abuse and neglect towards any animal.

I believe that we as people have a responsibility to the animals we take into our care. Animals are innocent creatures who experience happiness, love and pain and have a right to a life that is free from cruelty and suffering. They are unable to speak for themselves, so they rely on us to be the voice that speaks out against animal cruelty.

I can’t take responsibility for every neglected and abused animal in Ireland, but by taking part in this mini marathon and raising money for the ISPCA, I can at least contribute in some small way to the care, treatment and re-homing of these animals who deserve so much more.
