Story
Sarah is my work bestie. She is incredible and has always been there when I have needed her. She has got me back into running and always makes me believe I can run further, and faster, than I believe I can. She has this incredible ability make you believe in yourself.
Last year Sarah gave birth to Phoenix (go to the team page to read the story). I went and saw them at home, Phoenix melted my cold and frozen heart when I held him and he opened his eyes for me. When I heard the news the he was no longer with us, I was broken, as we all were, but nothing close to how Sarah and Luke must feel.
Their strength has been incredible, we are all supporting them all of the time. Sarah made a promise to Phoenix to run again and she is delivering on this promise.
I have signed up to Thirsk 10 mile, Northallerton 10km and the main event for me (for now) the Great North Run 13.1 miles and run every step for Phoenix.
Whilst out running yesterday to see what I could manage, I promised to Phoenix that I would support his mummy and daddy every step of the way now. You can help me do this. Sarah wants to raise enough for a neonatal incubator. So I ask you to donate what you can, support a family and make a difference to countless other lives.
