Story
On the 16th September myself and a group of friends and family will be taking part in the Katherine House Hospice Reimagined Midnight Walk.
We're walking in Memory of my amazing sister in law and dear friend Ingrid Chandler. Ingrid passed away in March this year, her last 3 weeks were spent at Katherine House Hospice, this gave Ingrid and her family and friends time to spend together, knowing she was receiving the best care and pain relief helped at this difficult time, her husband Chris stayed by her side the whole time, she had so many visitors from far and wide during this time, they were always welcomed and Ingrid was always delighted to see them, she even enjoyed her last Gin and Tonic in KH! Memories can still be made even in the saddest of times. Katherine House enabled this and the staff were incredible and offered support in every way.
The cover photo is Ingrid and I, we took part in the Moon Walk in London and raised money for Breast Cancer Charity.
I now want to raise some funds so other families can continue to use Katherine House. If you can, please help me raise some much needed funds for this extremely worthwhile charity who help make every moment matter for people with life limiting illness, providing support for families and friends.
Please also read our 'team' story - 'The Barry White FanClub' written by Ingrid's good friend Annette.
Thank you for taking the time to read.
