Story
This summer I will be attempting to complete the Pennine Way National Trail starting from the Peak District and walking north to the border of Scotland. It is 260 miles in total. I hope to complete it it memory of my dad who died of cancer in 2010. He loved walking and completed parts of the trail in the 1960s. The trail is well trodden these days but still challenging and hilly. I will have the company of Lou and Pam in our attempt to complete the whole trail in 18 days. We are also grateful to have other friends and family joining us and several other friends providing our support vehicle. We will mostly be camping with a van and tents along the route.
