As some of you will know I have been a volunteer for Cats Protection UK at their wonderful Tyneside Adoption Centre for over two years now. I am passionate about cat welfare: adoption, rehoming and neutering assistance and along with Cats Protection our vision is a world where every cat is treated with kindness.

You will also know that I love to walk and I thought it would be an amazing idea to combine my love of the two to raise much needed funds for the centre. Cats Protection, like many, many charities, have been hugely affected by Covid and lockdown.

Starting on Sunday 1st August 2021 and for two whole months until 30th September 2021 I aim to walk 1 million steps to raise money and awareness for the this wonderful shelter. 

So please don’t be shy, get your donations in - no donation too small - every penny counts and is hugely appreciated by everyone at Cats Protection's Tyneside Adoption Centre - furry and non-furry!! 

I will be posting regular photos and step updates so you can see my progression and worn out trainers!!
