I am (madly) running the Royal Parks Half Marathon on 11th October.  I am hoping to raise at least £500 (my minimum target) for Great Ormond Street Children's Charity.  As most of you know Gemma (my youngest daughter) was very poorly as a baby and had 3 operations in Great Ormond St.  The hospital was fantastic and the staff so incredibly supportive.  I really want to give something back.  The money raised will help go towards a number of projects at the hospital (please see their website www.gosh.org for info) , including parents accommodation - which, believe me, is essential when you have a child in hospital who you do not want to leave.
