Event: Uphill Struggle, from 10 October 2020 to 10 November 2020
In memory of George Anthony Walthall
Living with a mental health condition and getting effective treatment can often be seen as an uphill struggle. So, we want to encourage people to take on a physical challenge and replicate that uphill struggle between 10th Oct and 10th Nov.

Story

I am taking on Uphill Struggle to raise money for MQ. Their vision is simple - to create a world where mental illness is understood, effectively treated, and ultimately prevented. Together we are championing and funding research into mental health that will change millions of lives.

I know personally the negative effects mental health issues are misunderstood. The impact to your family and close friends. This is a relatively young charity doing vital research.

I realise that it is difficult to fundraise in the current climate, however, this research will be prolific in the coming years due to Covid-19 and more finding they have developed or enhanced symptoms.

It’s been a challenge but has improved my life.

Thank you x
