As most of you know my lovely mum was diagnosed with mixed dementia & Alzheimer's 4 years ago. Along with lots of close friends I have seen how this illness devastates  lives and can rob a family of so much. My mum is clever, witty, intelligent, independent and incredibly strong. But this has taken so much of this away from her and us. 

If I can do just a small amount to contribute to this charity and it helps in any way then that’s what I need to do.  

I am lucky enough to have the support of my amazing family and friends, and for this reason I will be trekking the 3 peaks in Yorkshire on June 18th, with my brother who has aptly named our little team Fruitcakes!!
