We help the hospital offer a better future to seriously ill children across the UK

Story

Our daughter Emma Kate Braddy was born in May 2007 and was loved by everyone who met her. She contracted enterovirus, a normally mild gastric infection which attacked her heart, and we lost our precious 7 week old baby girl just seven weeks later.Emma nearly survived thanks to her amazing treatment by the Cardiac Unit at Great Ormond Street.

We are very keen to try to make some good come out of this terrible event by raising money for the unit that cared for her with such devotion and kindness, and also gave us time to get to know her a little as well as the knowledge that everything possible was done to save her.

To mark what would have been Emma’s 5th birthday we are planning a “Family Fun Day” in Stanford in the Vale village Hall on Saturday 19th May 2012. Please see our web site at http://funday.braddy.net
for more information and Emma's full story.
