My wonderful Nan died in August this year at the age of 98 and she has left a big hole in our family - we all thought the absolute world of her. My brilliant friend Jane F asked me if I’d like to do a walk with her as a bit of a challenge and here we are! 

There were many charities to choose to raise money for when I signed up and so I am chuffed that I can raise money for The Samaritans. Nan volunteered for them for many years. I know she would have been brilliant and would have helped many people, she was such a great listener. This is my chance to do something too, and I think she’d be pleased.
