After twelve months of tests, I was diagnosed in October 2021* with Bulbar Onset Motor Neurone Disease. At the moment it only affects breathing, speaking and eating but will spread and, as yet, there is no cure. I can still get around easily enough and I'm assured that can, when the occasion demands it, still swear like a trooper.
