24 Hour Readathon · 23 August 2017

Jacob’s family started fundraising with Solving Kids’ Cancer to raise funds for Jacob to potentially access a clinical trial not available through the NHS to help him continue to fight neuroblastoma.

Story

Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I'm raising money for an incredible young boy called Jacob. Jacob has been fighting high-risk neuroblastoma since the age of two. Despite the aggressive regime of treatment he endured, he relapsed in April 2016. These funds are being raised in the hope that Jacob becomes eligible for the Bivalent Trial or any other promising experimental therapy abroad that could help him beat neuroblastoma.

As an avid reader, I thought why not use my love of books for a special cause. I will be completing a 24 hour readathon, reading as much as possible from the stroke of midnight on Wednesday 23rd August 2017. I won't be sleeping and I will be challenging myself to get through as many books as possible.
