24 Sep Update - done it, 199.4 miles and no blisters!

18 Sep Update - crossed the Pennines, still having rain every day. Had to extract Jan from peat bog today!

14 Sep Update - first two days very windy, today just wet and windy. Now in Grasmere - having fun!!

7 Sep Update - thanks to everyone for helping us reach our target before we set off. Let's see how far we can now go over the target figure!

On 12 September 2011 we will be starting our 200 mile walk acoss England based on Wainwright's Coast to Coast Walk. 

We are aiming to complete the walk in 13 days, with no rest days and we are hoping for your support by donating to this very worthy cause.  We are funding our walk ourselves so every penny that is given will go solely to EACH.  Having watched the new hospice in Ipswich being built close to our home reminded us of how hard every day can be for many of these young sufferers and their families.  Our tough walk will be completed in just 13 days - all being well.  Their struggles can go on for years.
