Story
Hi my fellow colleagues, friends and family
It's been a little while since I've done a charity run, the last being the Race for Life about 5 years ago so when a friend asked me to do the Midnight 10k walk for St Oswalds Hospice I decided to give it a go.
Having worked for Marie Curie Cancer Care, the Newcastle Hospice for 6 years I know the day to day running of a hospice, but I also know of the love and laughter which takes place there. It was the most rewarding and enjoyable job I have ever had.
I've put this in memory of my mam Irene Legge who was an incredible person. I still think of her regularly. However I'm running in aid of all my family, friends and people who have had cancer.
So please dig deep and donate, no amount is to small.
