Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

Update:

Jan and Andy completed their run in the GEAR this morning!!

It felt great to take part and know we were helping to raise so much money for the Sensory Garden at the Magpie Centre.

Thank you everybody for your donations and your good wishes.

As we always say 'we couldn't do it without you'!!

For several months, we have been building a sensory garden at the Magpie Centre for all of our clients to enjoy but, primarily, for our new venture, Tea With A Pony, which is for those living with dementia and other difficulties.

The garden was opened by HRH the Princess Royal last week and, although it is a garden so an ongoing project, the only capital item left to buy for it are the tables for the 'tea' area. These tables are teak and hardwearing as they will be outside all year round, and come in at around £600 each - 2 are needed - at a cost of £1200.

Andy has been running for several years and Jan started to run in the first lockdown. We have decided to run in the GEAR to raise money for the garden and to celebrate the fact that, because of our wonderful local community, volunteers and donors alike, the Magpie Centre has made it through to carry on with the riding and carriage driving sessions and Equine Assisted Learning already loved by so many and the new Tea With A Pony sessions we are looking forward to beginning soon.

Anything you may care to donate would be very welcome.

We really appreciate your support, thank you.
