Story
Hi everyone - In September we will be spending 5 days treking the
Great Wall of China.
We've been told it's going to be
challenging. In fact, the real challenge is going to be raising £5400
before we go!
So far, we've
sold cakes at Brighton Station, to local businesses, and a cricket match in Steyning (thanks to all our family and friends who contributed cakes)
had an Indian Bingo night at the restaurant 'Sri India'. Thanks to the restaurant staff, the local companies who donated prizes, Mike our bingo caller and the 80 friends and family who came to the evening.
Had 2 sponsored walks
Sold ice lollies at school
Held a brilliant and entertaining 'Pecha Kucha' night
Stood in Churchill Square Shopping Centre for 6 hours with collecting buckets (thanks Karen and Donna for helping us)
See the photos on the right of this page
We have a Pamper Party and a collection at Brighton Pride and a Chinese party still to come
Family and friends are all supporting us at these events.
For those of you who live too far away to join us, we would really
appreciate it if you would support us by making a donation.
Why
are we doing this? Janine's Dad has Parkinsons and Andy's Dad had
Parkinsons.
