Story
Sarah Barbour and Sabrina Goetz, supported by Jamieson, have bravely volunteered to climb Kilimanjaro on behalf of International Justice Mission (“IJM”), to raise awareness and funds to help bring an end to modern slavery and violence around the world. The aim is to be on the summit on 18th October – Anti-Slavery Day.
IJM is a global organisation that protects people living in poverty from slavery and violence. As the world’s largest anti-slavery organisation, IJM partners with local authorities in 24 programme offices in 14 countries to combat slavery, violence against women and children,
and police abuse of power by: Bringing people to safety and supporting survivors with trauma-informed care, bringing criminals to justice, helping local law enforcement strengthen justice systems, scaling demand for protection.
Over 40 million children, women and men are held in slavery today more than any other time in history and the pandemic has only increased the vulnerability of people living in poverty to encountering
violence and exploitation.
Please help Jamieson support Sarah and Sabrina in the fundraising efforts to help this important cause.
