Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Just over 6 years ago, I somehow ran the London Marathon. It was the most difficult experience of my life. I'm now doing it again and I'm not sure why.
After being delayed from April 2020 due to the pandemic and then another delay after that, it looks like there isn't another delay in sight. Fantastic. Now, you could say I have had to train for 3 marathons in the past 18 months. Who knows how true that is, but you could definitely say it.
Just to reiterate, I am not an athlete and definitely not a runner, so I don't know why I'm doing this to my legs again. What I am sure of is a few hours of pure pain (trust me, I know) is nothing compared to the issues experienced by those who struggle with mental health over the past 18 months, so with your help, I hope to raise as much as I can for a great cause to help those in need.

Jami understands that everyone’s experience of mental illness is different. Jami provide practical and emotional support for everyone affected by a mental health problem, the person with the diagnosis, friend, relative or employer. This includes:
- Supporting around 1,300 people at any one time and reaching thousands more through our community education
- Delivering approximately 27,000 separate provisions of service annually
- Employing 52 Mental Health professionals
- Operating programmes from 4 Community Hubs and 2 Enterprise Hubs
- Providing innovative peer-led services
