Story

On 25th September, Team Prime will take part in the Dragon Boat Race, hosted by Birmingham Children's Hospital Charity. The race will see 16 members of our staff paddle their way through a stretch of the Birmingham Canal and go head to head with other fundraisers. Despite being a competitive bunch, we know it's not all about the winning, therefore we are hoping to raise as much money as possible for the charity whilst we are at it. Birmingham Children’s Hospital Charity believe there’s always more that they can do for their sick kids and that’s why we will always strive to support the work that they do for their patients and families. It’s our mission to help raise the vital funds needed to make a real difference to all who use the hospital. Our support empowers them to take innovative approaches to treating some of the sickest children in the UK and our fundraising enables them to make the hospital feel just like home whilst finding new ways to treat and cure childhood diseases.

About the charity

It's bewildering and unsettling for anyone going into hospital but especially for children and that is why we are a fundraising hospital. We raise funds to enhance the experience of our patients by providing state of the art medical equipment and facilities and creating a child-friendly environment.
