We support people with Spinal Cord Injury to help them live full, independent lives

Story

I've always been a keen swimmer and have completed many challenges over the last 10 years.  It's always been an ambition of mine to swim the English Channel so I've decided to go for it!!

This July, I will swim the channel as part of a relay team to raise money for Aspire who aim to help people who have been paralysed by Spinal Cord Injury.

https://www.aspire.org.uk/

The swim itself is 21 miles. For the swim to be officially recognised, you cannot be assisted by any artificial aids so that means no wetsuits!  Just me, my googles and speedos!

A little known fact, Mount Everest has been summited more times than people swimming the channel highlighting how difficult this challenge is!

In these difficult times, we can't forget the smaller charities and help them to continue the great work they do in the community.

I understand times are hard and appreciate any donation large or small to help contribute to this wonderful charity.

Thank you all so much

Jamie
