We are taking part in the October Dog Walking Challenge to support families facing dementia. Dementia UK is the specialist dementia nurse charity. Our nurses, called Admiral Nurses, provide life-changing care to families affected by all forms of dementia, including Alzheimers disease. Helen and her family sadly lost her father to mixed vascular dementia this May. Dementia is a cruel disease and we believe that it does not get the funding  it deserves to try and find a cure.
