Story
Thank you for visiting my page!
It's that time of year where I wear my PSP top and run the Great North Run and Kielder Marathon on behalf of the PSP Association, as my Mother had Progressive Supranuclear Palsy (PSP) for several years. She thought until her last breath and was taken away from me on the 18th February 2014 as a result of this horrible disease.
PSP is a fatal brain condition and when my Mother was diagnosed with PSP I had to watch over the years my mother losing the ability to eat, walk and more importantly the Independence of looking after herself.
There is no treatment and no cure for PSP and that is why every year I try and raise funds for the PSP Association, who fund research into the causes, treatments and an eventual cure for PSP.
I started running so my Mother could see me run the Great North Run for the first time. The Great North Run and Kielder Marathon means a lot to me running in My mother's Memory.
Any funds you can spare to support my challenge would be greatly appreciated by me and I will keep you posted on my challenge updates!
Thank you so much, Jamie
