The Marsden March 2013 · 17 March 2013 ·

We fund life-saving research to help cancer patients everywhere.

Story

On Sunday 17th March 2013 me, my dad, my uncle, and my dog took a stroll. A 14 mile stroll from Chelsea to Sutton. Along with thousands of others. We walked in memory of my mum. We walked until our legs and bodies ached (as a group, we rarely take 14 mile hikes in the pouring rain). We walked to raise money for The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity, a cause very dear to us. The treatment that my mum had whilst at The Royal Marsden Hospitals when she needed it was second to none. We walked in the hope that someone else might receive the same level of care, attention and comfort as she did there. Hopefully by raising money and supporting their great work this will be possible. So please be generous and dig deep.
