Participants: Jamie Streatfield and Simon Watkins
We urgently need you to help us raise funds to cover the shortfall in our income created by the events we've had to cancel and the closure of our shops.

Story

Simon and I have run a lot of big and tough races between us but this one promises to be the hardest yet! 100 miles, self navigating around the Cornish coastline at the end of January when the weather is usually at its worst.

We are both looking forward to the challenge and to give us an extra incentive we would love to raise some money for the local hospice that has supported many families around the area and is very special to many Danson Runners.

To find out more about the race itself please see the below link;

Grateful for any donations, large or small and don't forget to add gift aid if you are eligible,

Lots of love. Jamie and Simon

Message from the hospice

As you are aware, we have cancelled or postponed most of our fundraising events. Weve also made the difficult decision to close all 16 of our shops.Because of this, we are expecting a huge shortfall in our funding over the coming months. Which means unless we raise the funds to cover the shortfall, our nurses and doctors will not be able to continue to care for the local people who desperately need us. It costs £23,000 a day to run the Hospice. We simply cannot sustain this. We need your help.Please donate today to help save Greenwich & Bexley Community Hospice, your hospice and then spread the word and urge everyone you know to do the same. We need you now, more than ever.
