Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I'm running this marathon in memory of my late Grandad, Gordon Taylor, he was someone very special to me and his loss massively affected our family after we said goodbye to him in November 2022 after a tough fight against Bowel Cancer.

My grandad was an incredible man, he taught me so many things—how to be strong, compassionate, and to treasure every moment with loved ones. He was the rock of our family, the ear that was always there for everyone when they had a bad day or when we needed some advice, he will be forever missed and I want to honour his memory by raising money for Bowel Research UK. They're doing incredible work in researching and fighting Bowel Cancer as well as many other bowel diseases, and I want to be a part of that fight to help make a difference.

I need your support to make this marathon journey a success. My goal is to raise a minimum of £2500, and every donation helps. No donation is too small. Your support will keep me motivated during training and, more importantly, will make a difference in the lives of families affected by this terrible illness.

If you're able to contribute, please consider making a donation to my fundraising campaign.

I'll be documenting my training adventures on social media, so expect plenty of sweat-drenched selfies and stories about my struggles as a "marathoner." I can't thank you enough for your love, support, and generosity and appreciate you all.
