Many people are unaware of the symptoms of stroke until it is too late. At the beginning of the year my father suffered from a mini stroke which came as a shock to the family, and we were unaware of the signs of stroke. A month ago, my girlfriend Rebecca's grandmother suffered a severe stroke and is currently in hospital recovering.
