We fulfil unforgettable Special Days to support seriously ill 16 - 40 year olds

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our Hadrians 48 JustGiving page.

Jack Partington died of lymphoma on 28.06.13, aged 22, loved by all who knew him. In memory and celebration of Jack, we are raising money for the Willow Foundation, which provided a treasured, special day for Jack and his family when he was seriously ill. Please take a moment to look at their website (www.willow foundation.org.uk) to see how they help.

To raise money we (Jamie and Alistair Partington, Jonathan LoweIan Crooks, David Curtis, Steve Dobson, Hugh Kilroy, Jonny Foster, Richard Astles and Paul Bowker) have decided to take on the challenge of walking Hadrians Wall, all 84 miles of it, in 2 days, which is quite frankly ridiculous. None of us have any proper walking experience, and no one else seems to be doing this, so we are probably going to end up in a crumpled heap somewhere along the track on the second day, but you can count on the fact that we will all give it our very best shot.

This is going to be a rigorous physical and mental exercise which we are all silently panicking about (!) and which we know is going to hurt. Please back us all by digging deep and donating to a very worthy cause. Thank you. It would mean a great deal.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity.
