For those of you who know me you’re probably aware about my father, Kenny McEwan, and how he passed away. He was an alcoholic, he drank until his liver could no longer function and passed away due to the cirrhosis his drinking caused. 

Alcoholism is such a horrible thing, having lived with someone who was addicted to drinking its hard to properly articulate the struggle that goes on.

I’ve decided to cut alcohol from my life for 1/4 of the year to mark the 4th anniversary of Kenny’s death. This will begin on the 18th of July and end on the anniversary of his death on the 16th of October. I’ve also picked the charity Addaction to raise money for while doing this, they work with drug addicts and alcoholics to help them try and lead better and healthier lives. Something I deeply wish my father had been able to do. 

I’m hoping that I’ll be able to raise some money and awareness. Anything that can be given helps even its just how much you'd spend on one pint!
